In accordance with 3.1.4R of the Disclosure Rules, Aukett Group plc was informed on 9 March 2006 that Mr Stephen Embley, a director of Aukett Limited, a wholly- owned subsidiary of the Company, has made the following purchases of ordinary 1p shares:

His total beneficial holding of 49,500 ordinary 1p shares represents 0.03% of the issued share capital of the Company. Prior to this announcement, Mr Embley held 21,500 shares or 0.01% of the issued share capital.
